Your business can explore the dashboard and the sandbox straight away, but it collects and moves real money only once it is live. Until then, routes that collect or move money (creating a checkout, sending a payment, verifying, refunds) answer 403.

The steps

1

Sign up and verify your business

Create your business on the dashboard and complete Verification: business details and address, registration documents, proof of address, and the directors and owners.
2

Owners verify their own identity

Every owner completes their own identity check. Directors may be asked to verify too; the dashboard shows who is still to do it.
3

Review

We review the business. Reviewing is free.
4

Pay the verification fee

After the business is approved, pay the one-time verification fee from the dashboard. Paying it takes the business live. Some plans waive it.
5

Create a live API key and webhook endpoint

Create a live key under Settings → Developers and register your live webhook endpoint under Settings → Webhooks. Point your integration at https://api.platnova.com.

What a business that isn’t live gets

with HTTP 403. data.missing lists the requirements still open, by key. Typical keys: Show the list to the merchant, or send them to the dashboard’s Verification page, which shows the same steps. New keys can be added; treat an unknown key as “something is left to do”.
Building a plugin? When a merchant enters their keys, make one cheap call (for example GET /v1/wallets) and a test POST /v1/checkout in the sandbox, and show a clear “finish verification on Platnova” message if live calls answer entity_not_active.

Refunds to bank accounts

Refunds of bank-transfer payments go out as payouts, so payouts must be enabled on your business. Otherwise a refund answers 422 payouts_not_enabled. Ask [email protected] to enable them.
